Who we are?
Marc Storms founded InfoFluxo. He is Belgian and lives since November 2006 in Brazil. He worked about a year as a volunteer for CESE, Salvador, Brazil, where he:

• processed an information audit
• stimulated the discussion on library services and information culture
• restructured the library
• constructed a management system for the storage and retrieval of documents (books, CD, DVD, photo-albums, internet-sites)
• trained the staff of CESE to use this system
• gave logistical help by international meetings

He decided not to return to his job at the VVBAD (Flemish association of libraries, archives and documentation centers) based in Antwerp, Belgium, where he was the executive director and had extensive knowledge of library and archive issues.
After doing this job for about 25 years, Marc wanted a new challenge, abroad Europe. All his experience in organizing and structuring information has been contributing to help Brazilian organizations, especially those that work in the social-profit sector.

How we work?
There is a big gap between the jargon used by technology people and the capacity of social-profit-organizations to express their automation needs.
InfoFluxo wants to diminish this gap. Our strenght is the long experience in the not-for-profit sector and a technology background. We are not selling products, we want to deliver a service. This consists of 5 steps : listening to your wishes – creating a prototype – testing by the (end)users – changing for the better – running. Emphasis lays on the first step.
